Messi some time ago had said it will leave Camp Nou at a later time, although the Argentine players often expressed his desire to retire at Barca. Messi changed his mind because he saw something that did not go according to his wishes.
However, Jorge Messi, Messi's father and agent, had made sure that his son would not leave Camp Nou. According to him, the 27-year-old is now happy at Barcelona.
"I know someday Messi will go. It was to be expected. Everything is definitely going to end," said Deco.
"I understand the whole speculation that arises when one speaks of great players. But, nothing is eternal in the team and as well as in football. The players and great managers come and go."
